Sandra is truly an amazing trainer. She embodies the perfect combination of toughness, humour, encouragement, and motivation. She knows exactly what to say to get those last few reps out of you and get you to push just a little bit harder than you thought you could. Her passion and dedication to health and fitness are evident in the energy and enthusiasm she brings to every session. Because of her I am stronger, healthier and happier person and most importantly, she makes exercising fun. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Sandra is an amazing trainer who is truly driven by her clients’ progress. Her extreme passion for fitness is evident in her energy and ongoing commitment to helping you achieve your goals.

When I began training with Sandra, I had hardly exercised a day in my life. I really wanted to look and feel my best for my wedding day. Plus, I had to lose a few inches in order to fit into the wedding dress that I had chosen. It ended up being too big after all! Sandra helped me to tighten/tone my body and build muscle so that my arms, back and shoulders were wedding dress ready in no time! Not to mention that on my honeymoon, I felt the best I’ve ever felt in a bikini! I’m happy to say that both my confidence and energy level have increased. I love the way my clothes also fit better now.

The workouts were challenging at first, but as I continued to attend, I could feel myself getting stronger each session. The great thing about Sandra’s workouts is that she modifies them to suit your individual fitness level and needs. They are also varied so that no two workouts are the same. My wedding was four months ago, and I’m still attending her workout sessions because I really enjoy them. They are a great stress reliever and confidence booster. My whole experience training wtih Sandra has been challenging, rewarding and empowering. Thanks for being such an awesome, motivating instructor!!

I used to have no energy or much motivation for anything, until one day when the stars aligned, and I met Sandra. This is when my fitness journey begun. She changed my life forever and I cannot thank her enough for the NEW me.

Sandra lives, eats, and breathes everything fitness. She got me hooked on  her routine from the very beginning and it has now become my daily routine, my bible. She taught me that nothing about getting fit is easy, actually it never gets easy , but through commitment and discipline you become better and better every day. I learned that I can push myself a little more, through pain you grow😊 and that progress follows. She used the best practices to get me there.

Sandra cares about her clients, listens, focuses on basics, she doesn’t make things complicated. For someone like me with no athletic bone in her body this was the greatest thing. I got really good at doing the basics and  that got me the results I was looking for . She also practices what she preaches. She was training and lifting along with us, that was so beneficial to see how perfect form should look like. She made me want to come back for more and more . And I wanted to stay with my amazing trainer forever. So I brought my husband to her practice. He trusted her , he followed his fitness coach and he was rewarded with an amazing transformation as well.

There’s so much I could  still say, but I will only say that  it was a privilege to know and train with Sandra. She is one of the best investments you can make for yourself and your body and your soul will thank you for that!

Before I met Sandra I was at Goodlife and I remember walking into the gym intimidated to use the equipment so I only used the machines that I knew how to use – the treadmill or the elliptical or attended the classes. I remembering not feeling motivated and the classes did not feel personable. I knew I wanted to join an all girls fitness group, a place where I didn’t feel intimidated and have an instructor that would know me and what I was capable of. I wanted someone to correct me if I was not using proper body mechanics and to adjust my workout as I became stronger. That’s when I found Sandra, the girl who changed my life for the better. As I walked into my very first bootycamp class, I set myself up and vey timidly stood at the back of the class. The first thing Sandra said which has always stuck in my mind was “Let’s make that fat cry!”. I knew I was in for the best workout of my life.

Eventually bootycamp closed down, but Sandra invited me to one of her classes at Sandra Jean Lifestyle that was formally known as Girlz Gone Fit bootcamp. As time went on, working out with Sandra was my outlet. I was going through the toughest time of my life and as I write this it brings tears because Sandra taught me to put all the negative energy towards my workout and allowed me to use my workout as an outlet. Throughout my workout session, she’d say inspiring things to help you get through my last squat, my last lunge or when the burn starts to burn she’d push me by saying “do this for yourself!”. She’d even give you tips how to eat and if you wanted M&M’s or a glass of red wine she’d tell you how much burpees you’d need to do to burn it off.

After I gave birth to my second child, I decided to sign up for the Spartan Race. I trained with Sandra 2-3x a week for 8 months. I went down from 170lbs to 118lbs and I felt my best and looked my best. I can see the defined shoulders and the plump bum she promised if squat lower. I was smiling more, I was tired less and I was stronger. Sandra gave me all the things I needed in order to achieve my goal. She was God-sent. She inspired and encouraged me to be the “better version of myself” she believed in me and most of all, she cares!

Belinda

Six years ago a good friend asked if I wanted to go with her to workout with her trainer. I had been doing hot yoga for four years and thought it would be great to do a bit more.

I clearly remember being stiff and sore the next day, but at the same time I felt good.

I loved Sandra’s energy and really liked the group of ladies she trained.

Needless to say, I am still training with Sandra and loving the fact that I can do it on line.

I have a hectic work and travel schedule so the convenience of on line training is great for me.

I have had to work through several injuries over the years, but Sandra has always given me options to modify.

She has amazing energy and always offers encouragement.

I especially enjoy the ab and weight training and always wanted more sculpted arms. Sandra has helped me achieve that goal.

She leads by example and shares her ups and downs. She genuinely cares about your health and well being.

I’ve been training with Sandra for about 8 years now!

When I first met Sandra she told me about her own personal story about how she had struggled with her weight from a young age. She explained how she worked at it everyday to get where she is today. She educated me in so many things that I never knew about fitness and nutrition before. She shares all her knowledge and experiences to make sure that you are motivated to achieve your goals!!! Sandra explains how fitness and nutrition has to become a lifestyle and not short term.

When I started off with Sandra I was at my biggest I had ever been, I remember stepping on the scale that year and I had reached a number that I never imagined that I would reach. That’s when I had said to myself that I had to do something about this. So I decided to join a boot camp and that’s where I met Sandra and my journey began with her. As I kept going to her classes I noticed her passion for fitness.She motivates and encourages you on achieving your goals and her energy during the workouts is amazing. All I can say is she is amazing at what she does!!! Every time I would see Sandra I would learn something new and still to this day I do.There was times where I felt like giving up but I would always remember her story and how it’s not easy to get where you want to be. I wouldn’t be where I am today if it was for her.

Sandra has just launched her online virtual training, when she told me she was thinking about going online I was so happy that I would be able to work out with her from the comfort from my own home and its like training with her when I used to go to her fitness studio. Sandra has the drive to get your where you want to be, she treats all her clients like family and she will never give up on you!

I was on maternity leave when I first discovered Sandra. I was looking for a group fitness option to get back on track after having a baby. I initially wanted to lose weight, but once I began the program, I realized that for me, I loved gaining muscle mass and my body toning. I saw the changes in my body and as time went on, I added another training session with Sandra during the week. The changes did not only occur visibly but I also noticed how much more I could lift and accomplish; I had begun with 3 lbs and 5 lbs weights, but now I’m able to lift heavier with 12 lbs dumbbells. I’m also able to keep up with all the burpees and other cardio exercises that we do. Measurements were also an important part of the process – I might not have changed numbers on the scale but the lost inches were proof to me that all the hard work I was putting in each week was paying off. Pants that I was able to fit into pre-baby, actually fit now!

Sandra is a big part of my life – she knows when you need that extra push in order to get you to the next level in your fitness. She is always energetic and motivational – even on those days when you don’t feel like working out, you definitely feel 110% better once you are done!  Sandra also knows that an hour session is not going to cut it – she always ensures that you are getting a full body workout to help you achieve your goals.

Although I do want to look good, for me, it’s about feeling healthy, especially for my daughters who watch mommy exercise and ask if they can join too. Modeling a healthy lifestyle for them is the best outcome from training with Sandra.

I am very grateful that now I am able to train at home – it is very convenient! Using weather as an excuse or “I am too tired to drive” is no longer an option. I am always ready for the sessions and at the end there is no time wasted – I just have a quick shower and get ready for bed.

I’m Lauren K. and I go way back with Sandra Jean. I started my weight loss and fitness journey with Sandra in July of 2013. I was recently married and beginning to think about starting a family. I had lost approximately 25 lbs in the months leading up to my wedding through dieting but had not integrated fitness into my lifestyle. Needless to stay, the dieting routine was not sustainable for me and I had gained back more weight after my wedding than I had lost. It was time I needed to do something about it. As somewhat of a foodie, I found that maintaining a strict diet was not sustainable and the key to keeping a figure that I was happy with was integrating a fitness schedule in my life. I found Sandra through a fitness bootcamp and with her tough love – deep connection style, it was a just what I needed.

That summer I had registered for a 5K run with my sister and was super excited about it. I had done a training run with my sister in early July and was able to just keep up with her. I was okay with my results, but it was way harder to complete than I had remembered. I have always loved running outside and for me I knew I could do better. The run took place in early September and I had two months of bootcamp under my belt. I remember completing the run this time with my sister struggling to keep up to me. I asked her if she wanted me to slow down a bit and she said, “no no…keep going…that bootcamp of yours has paid off”. I was so proud of what I had accomplished in such a short time.

I continued to train with Sandra through my first pregnancy and I was able to keep up with my training as Sandra helped me to modify as I needed to accommodate my growing belly. Just a few weeks after having my little boy in December of 2014, I felt and looked better than I had before my wedding. I was strong and fit and ready for anything. Working out was part of my routine that I enjoyed and looked forward to. I would even bring my son with me to Sunday morning workouts and he would play on the mats beside me and get cuddles from Sandra. Soon enough baby number 2 was on the way. It was harder to workout during my second pregnancy but tried to keep it in my routine as much as I could.

When going back to work in spring of 2018 I made the terrible mistake of letting my busy working mom life take over my fitness priority completely. Fast forward to today, just over a year later, I find that I have accomplished one very important thing. I have proven to myself that without fitness as part of my regular routine and lifestyle, I am not the person I want to be. I have a lot of work to at this time in my life, but I am staring it right in the face. I know that with Sandra’s support I can do anything.

Sandra contacted me a few months ago to let me know about her new business model that she thought would be great for me. Online live workouts that I can do from my own home. No fuss with commuting to the gym after I have already commuted 1-hour home from work. All I have to do is login after I put the kids to bed and get in the zone. I’m doing exactly that, and I am committing to myself that I will bring fitness back into my lifestyle in a way that works for me. I’m so excited to be apart of what Sandra is doing.

Have been training with Sandra since April 2019. At the time I had not worked out in over a year!

My sister told me about Sandra and how she had this new program where you could work out from your own home and all you had to do was click on a link and start!

The first couple of sessions with Sandra was tough.  I could barely make it through 5 burpees without feeling faint or sick!  But Sandra told me to keep going and push through it and that I would eventually get better.  She was right! I now can do over 40 burpees without ever feeling sick!

Sandra is a fantastic and highly skilled trainer! She motivates you and pushes you to do your best every time, even when you think you can’t! She really cares about my personal fitness and she makes working out extremely fun and very satisfying because of how fast you see results!

I love her and this program and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is serious about getting into shape!

For most of my life I struggled with my weight! After having 4 kids, and a very busy lifestyle I didn’t have the time or energy to look after myself.

I was very tired…tired of looking bad and having zero energy!

In 2008 my youngest child started school full-time, and now I could go ‘work-out’ after I dropped him off for the day.

This was when I first met Sandra: she was teaching a step-class as a volunteer at my fitness centre (which she still does to the present day 🙂

Her happy and enthusiastic attitude was infectious, and I looked forward to attending her classes once a week!

She would share her own past struggles with weight, and eating!?

She told us about how she created all kinds of excuses to over-eat (just like I did),

and all kinds of excuses to not work-out (just like I did), and all kinds of excuses to give up (just like I did)!!!

So, I figured that she wasn’t just like any other fitness instructor, she understood how hard it is to break away from this unhealthy lifestyle,

and how to change your life to become…Fitter…Healthier…Happier!

My own efforts were not working, even with attending step-class 3x/week! I didn’t know what to do!?

I got a chance to talk to Sandra about my issue as to why nothing was changing in the way I looked and felt.

At that time, she was also teaching a ‘boot-camp’ style of fitness, and told me to try it out, and that she can and will transform me!

I thought about it for some time, then finally in January 2011, I signed up for her 4 week ‘boot-camp’, 2 nights/week.

(Sandra had an 8 week option, but I wasn’t sure if I would like it, nor if it would even work!)

That very first session was humbling !! I thought I was going to faint at the end of it !! But I survived !!

I continued to go to her sessions, praying in my car, scared every time, wondering if I would conquer another day with her training!?

She motivated us, pushed us to try a little harder, go a little longer, watch what we ate, and gave us the courage to keep going!

After those first 8 weeks, I saw changes in my body shape, strength, and energy!

My husband was VERY happy !! (He likes Sandra more than I do !! Lol 🙂

I have never stopped since!

I have received many compliments on my apperance, which wasn’t just because I looked thinner and fitter than I have my whole life,

but my confidence has skyrocketed!! I tell people that my body has a ‘product of Sandra-booty-camp approval” !!

I owe Sandra a whole-hearted thanks for helping me improve my life in so many ways!
